Calvary Bible School has developed a discipleship training course that is intended to provide basic Christian teaching in the discipling process to enable people to become true Disciples of Christ Jesus. It gives disciples the ability to become self-maintaining in their discipleship growth. This course is designed to help disciples recruit; raise; train and release other disciples into action. It places practical spiritual power into the hands of committed disciples who want to be obedient to the call of Jesus in their lives.
The purpose of the Discipleship Training course is:
- To raise and equip disciples according to the instruction of our Lord given in Matthew 28:18-20. Disciples are given the tools to be compatible and compliant with the following scriptures: Matthew 22:37-40; 28:18-20; 6:33 and Ephesians 2:10.
- To motivate people to do the works of Jesus: Isaiah 61:1-3, Matthew 28:18-20
- To teach people to do spiritual “first aid”. The training course is for everyone in the church. It is an introduction to understanding and becoming an effective disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not only do people suffer under the affliction of the enemy but many people in our churches are suffering in spirit, soul or body, and this is just as unnecessary. This course teaches you how to personally walk in victory, and to effectively promote the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and Ministry of Christ as laid out in Isaiah 61:1-3.
- To build effective apostolic ministry teams in the local church similar to the church of Antioch.
This teaching has been designed to be taught within a local church environment, small group meeting, or over the internet with the intention that if a person goes through it once, they can teach it to other disciples.
